Proximity Cards
Proximity cards use radio frequency technology to communicate with a compatible reader without requiring physical contact. A user holds the card near the reader, which checks the credential data before granting or denying access.
Businesses use them throughout facilities where controlled entry is required. Proximity badges can also support employee identification when companies want the same credential used for both access and visual ID.
Compatibility depends on the access system already in place. Card Quest carries credentials from manufacturers such as HID, Schlage, Indala, Kantech, Bosch, and SecuraKey. Card Quest can review the details of your current system and help identify the correct format and programming before you order proximity cards, so you don't have to sort through technical specifications on your own.
