This maintenance cartridge absorbs excess ink during printing to help clean the printer and maintain optimal printing function. The monitor on you SCC4000D printer will update you on the percentage level of absorbed ink. Once full, the maintenance cartridge will not print, however changing the cartridge is extremely easy.
For use with SwiftColor SCC400D Printers.
